Helllooooo,
Been a while since i wrote and posted something,
well, here am i...
Have been busy planning/going for a short holiday to Kodagu, also known as Coorg, which is a rural district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka, India.
In the area’s north, Madikeri Fort has 2 life-size elephant statues at its entrance, plus a Gothic-style church with a museum on its grounds.
Nearby, the Hindu Omkareshwara Temple dates back to the 19th century. Farther north are the domed Raja’s Tomb, a burial place of Kodava kings, and cascading Abbi Falls. Also a Marvellous Buddhist Monastry.
India has the most beautiful holiday destinations, is a paradise and known for its scenic beauty.
Finally The Air fare was done through my daughter Zahra Hooda, Chalked and paid for and the tour was through a friend Irfan Mastan, cousin of my school friend, Fatima Motiwala, who helped me with this itinerary, through his company, TROUVAILLE HOLIDAYS .
From the Bengaluru airport we went to Coorg by car, a marvellous journey indeed...!!!
Here we stayed at Palm Era Cottages which were simply mind blowing.
Also visited an Elephant Safari.Moving out of Coorg was the most difficult thing, just didn't want to blink or would miss the view, the scenic beauty, the classy enriounment.
Also visited Kabini and stayed at Kabini Springs, with its fabulous ambience and great service; and on the journey to the hotel which is a long one we saw many deer, elephants, monkeys.
Its a beautiful place, where we went for a Fabulous Jungle Safari.
A place to loose your mind and find your inner peace.
That Safari was the best i have ever witnessed so far.Truly inspiring...!!!
The last was Bandhipur ...
M C Resorts at Bandhipur is a well kept, clean and neat resort. A place to witness animals, birds, Trees, mountains, greenery, water falls, scenic, serene, tranquil, mind blowing with awesome weather. Here we were pleasantly surprised with a huge 1 kg honey cake, a speciality by the owners and Irfan from
TROUVAILLE HOLIDAYS .
Well we all shared it, caste and crew of the hotel and us, singing A Big Happy Birthday.... :)
Fabulous Moments for sure....!!!
Every corner were trees of coffee, black pepper, betal nut, banana plantations.
Walking through the coffee plantations was so relaxing, soothing, therapeutic...!!!
With Abhi Our Driver who was very cautious indeed....!
